BTOTICINO FIORITO
Originating in Italy, this stone comes from the same mountain range as Botticino Classico and is primarily used for interior decoration. Domestically, it was used in the Beijing World Financial Center project. Tofu Flower Beige quarries are small and extremely unstable, limiting its use to large areas. It exhibits significant color variations, so caution is advised when selecting this material. Advantages: Bright color, a good choice among light beige stones, with fewer veins and cracks. Installation: Can be dry-hung; wet installation requires white cement.
TURKEY LILAC BEIGE
Originating in Turkey, primarily used for interior decoration, flooring, and wall cladding; Features: Inexpensive, widely used in hotel lobbies; relatively soft structure, suitable for antique finishes, brushed finishes, and chiseled finishes, with noticeable effects; can be cut into straight or random textures. Disadvantages: Not very high gloss; colors within the same batch are quite similar. However, there can be significant color differences between batches.
PERLINO BIANCO
Originating in Italy, This material has strict processing requirements; different processed surfaces of the same raw block will have different patterns (one straight grain, one random grain). When using random grain slabs, severe green spots will inevitably appear on the polished surface, requiring excavation and glue repair. Straight grain slabs are covered with regular cracks; this material has a lower gloss level but is easier to repair with glue.
The following points should be noted when using Silver Line Beige:
- Straight grain slabs should not exceed 800*800mm, as larger sizes are prone to breakage.
- For random grain slabs, it should be specified in advance that there will be green spots requiring glue repair.
- It has two-tone variations and a lower gloss level.
BEIGE PORTOFINO
Originating in the Middle East, This stone has a beige base color with evenly distributed red veins and is mainly used indoors. Common defects include significant color variation, red spots, numerous mud-like pores, large differences in pattern, and large areas of white inclusions (the fewer white inclusions, the better). BEIGE PORTOFINO has a moderate gloss, is easily repaired with glue, and is moderately priced. This material is fragile and has low utilization rate.
GIALLO ROYAL TAFU
Originating in Israel. This stone is relatively soft and highly absorbent, making it suitable for interior wall and floor decoration, as well as various custom-shaped applications.
This quarry has distinct straight grain. Due to its soft texture, marble is often used for carvings. It exhibits significant color variation. Large-scale projects using this stone include the Shanghai Marriott Hotel, where its decorative effect fully showcases the brilliance of this type of stone under different lighting conditions.
CREAM TRAVERTINE
Origin: Iran, lower price; also available from Italy, higher price.
This type of stone has similar structural characteristics and will be discussed together: It has a loose structure, large pores, and irregular patterns. However, current architectural trends favor European and American antique styles, leading to a wider range of design choices. It can be used for columns and interior/exterior walls, but not for floors. Processing methods include two options:
1. No epoxy;
- Epoxyapplication: Glue application can be done with transparent glue, yellow/white glue, or A/B epoxy.
DRAGON BEIGE
Origin: Turkey. This stone belongs to the marble family and shares some characteristics with perlato svevoBeige marble, such as a yellowish base color, similar patterns, and directional veining. However, its patterns are larger than those of Golden Flower Beige marble, with distinct color lines and highly unstable white spots. It is well-suited for interior wall and floor finishes, as well as bathroom surfaces. Besides a polished finish, it also performs well with antique and acid-washed finishes.
